Angie Ellenbecker

MS, CCC-SLP

Angie Ellenbecker is a speech-language pathologist, certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) since 2008. She graduated from Minnesota State Moorhead in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Speech, Language, Hearing Science. She received a Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, FL, in 2007.

She worked for the Clark County School District, Las Vegas, NV, for eight years (2002-2010) as a school-based Speech Therapist. She founded Talk to Me Speech Therapy in Las Vegas, NV, in 2008, as a speech-language pathologist and administrator over ten speech-language-pathologists and occupational therapists. In 2016, Ms. Angie franchised her company to the Nashville area in Tennessee. She has seventeen years of experience providing speech-language services to a diverse population of clients between the ages of two through teenagers in clinical, home, and school settings. She has experience working with many disorders: non-verbal children whom use augmentative alternative communication (AAC), auditory processing problems, sensory oral dysphagia, aphasia, apraxia, articulation/phonology, receptive/expressive language disorders, myofunctional (tongue thrust), traumatic brain injury, cognitive communication, fluency/stuttering, vocal nodule voice disorders, and executive function difficulties.  She has worked extensively with populations with autism, emotional disturbances, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and children in foster care.

Ms. Angie is a clinical provider for the Barton Reading, Spelling, and Dyslexia Program.  It is an evidenced-based reading intervention for struggling readers and English Language Learners. The reading program is for: struggling readers, English Learners, Dyslexia, Auditory Processing, Autism Spectrum Disorder, or Children who qualify for special education services.

In 2019, Ms. Angie was certified as a Preferred Trainer with LDS & Associates for Accent Reduction/Modification Therapy. An accent may become an issue when it interferes with communication and affects the individual’s professional success and future opportunities. This therapy program is designed to assist in English as a Second Language (ESL), people with strong accents, and people that are difficult to understand, to speak with a Standard American English Accent. This therapy is geared to helping people communicate clearly. Individual, small, medium, and large group classes are available. This program may also be available over Skype or Facetime for distance learners, or people that have difficult work schedules.

In addition, Ms. Angie currently serves as a standing member of the National Advisory Committee for PRAXIS Teaching Students Language Impairments, PRAXIS Test Development Standing Committee Member, and independent contracted test writer for PRAXIS for Educational Testing Services (ETS). She has also been a part-time instructor for Nevada State University, and Clinical Supervisor for speech therapy practicum students in Las Vegas, NV. She has piloted language programs for Super Duper Publications, and contracted as a standardized test developer for Western Psychological Services.

Rachel Corrin

Rachel Corrin is a speech-language pathologist, certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) since September 2021. She graduated from the University of Tennessee–Knoxville with a Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology in 2018. She received a Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University in 2020. She has worked in a school and clinic setting in Knoxville, TN for two years. She has experience providing therapy to the pediatric population ranging in ages from one to eighteen.

 

She has experience working with diverse populations including:  articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive language disorders, augmentative alternative communication (AAC), developmental delays, fluency/stuttering, aphasia, and apraxia. She has also treated students with autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, cleft lip, and hearing loss.

Jenna DiGiammarino

M.A., CCC-SLP

Jenna attended Edinboro University of Pennsylvania where she graduated with an Associate’s degree in Developmental Disabilities, Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and minors in Psychology and Deaf Studies in 2018, and a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2020. She is licensed by the board of Tennessee and has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association.

Jenna’s clinical experiences include working with children in grades K-12 in the public schools and pediatric private practice. She has served children with a variety speech, language and feeding needs including dysphagia, articulation and phonological processing disorders, expressive and receptive language delays and disorders, pragmatic language disorders, AAC, fluency disorders, and literacy disorders. In addition, she has attended various workshops and conferences and received specialized training working with assistive technology devices. Jenna has a passion for working with children and has developed unique therapy techniques that are both fun and successful.

Regan Horan 

M.S., CCC-SLP
Regan attended Indiana University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences and a double minor in Family Studies and Psychology. Regan then graduated from Sacred Heart University with a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2022. She is licensed by the board of Tennessee and has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association. She enjoys spending time with her family in Indiana as well as her husband and dog here in Nashville. 

Regan’s clinical experiences include working with children in grades PreK-4th in the public schools, rehab and acute care at Horizon Hospital, and pediatric private practice. She has served children and adults with a variety speech, language, cognition, and swallowing needs including dysphagia, articulation, expressive and receptive language delays and disorders, pragmatic language disorders, autism, AAC, and cognitive impairments. Regan has a passion for using multimodal forms of communication including AAC devices, American Sign Language, and/or verbal language to find the most functional and successful mode of communication for each client.

Alexis Kennedy

Alexis Kennedy is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant with a commitment to improving the lives of her clients. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Biola University in 2022.

Her clinical experience was gained in elementary school and clinic settings with both children and adults. Her areas of proficiency encompass articulation, phonology, pragmatics, receptive and expressive language disorders, as well as apraxia and aphasia.

Emma Maguire

M.S., CCC-SLP 

Emma is a speech language pathologist certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) since 2023. She graduated from Assumption College in 2020 with Bachelor’s degrees in Human Services and Rehabilitation Studies with a concentration in Communication Sciences and Disorders and in Italian Studies. Emma earned a Master of Sciences in Speech Language Pathology from Sacred Heart University in 2022. During her time in graduate school, Emma was awarded a scholarship through which she received specific training in literacy. She had the opportunity to work interprofessionally with occupational therapy graduate students to improve the reading and writing skills of children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.

Emma’s clinical experiences include working with children in grades Pre-K through 12 in the public schools. Additionally, Emma has worked in specialized schools serving children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, severe language impairments, severe learning disorders, and emotional disturbances. She has experience working with pediatrics and adults, addressing a variety of needs which include: receptive and expressive language, articulation, AAC, developmental delays, pragmatic language, fluency, executive functioning, literacy, aphasia, and apraxia of speech. Emma enjoys spending time with her friends, cooking, and being outdoors. She has a passion for helping others discover their way of communicating through engaging therapy techniques.

Ashley Reiff

Ashley Reiff is a speech-language pathologist, clinical fellow. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She worked at Cardinal Cushing Centers in Hanover Massachusetts, a substantially separate private school for individuals with disabilities, for one year as a Speech Language Pathologist’s assistant before going back to continue her education and pursue her Masters degree. Ashley received her Masters of Science in Communication Disorders from Emerson College in Boston, MA in May of 2023. 

Ashley’s clinical experiences include completing a 10-month internship at Boston Children’s Hospital to become specialized in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). In addition to this, she has experience working with clients with aphasia, receptive and expressive language disorders, developmental delays, fluency, voice, articulation, phonology, developmental disorders, pragmatics, executive functioning, and literacy. Ashley has a passion for working with children and adults for a variety of communication needs. She enjoys using child-led therapy techniques to help foster communication growth. She is creative and enjoys painting, music, traveling, and being outdoors!

Callie Revilla

Callie Revilla is a speech language pathologist certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) since 2022. She graduated with her M.S in speech language pathology from Western Kentucky University in 2021 and completed her clinical fellowship year at Talk to Me Speech Therapy. Callie also has a Bachelor of arts degree in Spanish language from Western Kentucky University. She has studied abroad in Spain and continues to build her fluency in the language.

Callie offers bilingual services for clients and their families who are primarily Spanish speakers. Dual language therapy may be offered to young children with limited exposure to English. Callie was born and raised in the Nashville area where she currently lives with her husband. She enjoys baking, hiking and playing board games.

Rachel Rohrbacher

M.S., CCC-SLP 

Rachel is a speech-language pathologist, licensed by the Board of Communication Disorders and Sciences in Tennessee. She also holds licensure in four other states and has been certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) since 2010. Rachel attended Adelphi University in Garden City, New York, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2008, and a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2010.

Rachel has 13 years of experience providing speech and language services to preschool children in special needs programs and to young children, 0-3 years of age, in various childcare settings. She has served children with a variety of speech and language needs including articulation, phonological processing and oral motor disorders, receptive, expressive, and pragmatic language deficits, and AAC. Rachel prefers to use a more naturalistic approach in therapy and often incorporates play-based intervention strategies to teach new skills.

Anne Regan Smith

My name is Anne Regan Smith and I am a clinical fellow speech language pathologist. I obtained my masters degree in communication sciences and disorders from the University of Mississippi. With a deep-rooted passion for working with pediatrics, I am dedicated to helping individuals improve their communication skills and enhance their overall quality of life.

Working with children has always been a source of immense joy and fulfillment for me. Being a part of their progress and witnessing the positive impact that effective communication has on their lives is incredibly rewarding. I believe in creating a warm and nurturing environment where my clients feel comfortable expressing themselves and where their unique needs are met.

In addition to my work with pediatrics, I also have experience working with individuals of all ages, including adults. As a speech language pathologist, I am dedicated to empowering individuals to overcome their communication challenges and reach their full potential. I am excited to continue my professional growth and make a lasting difference in the lives of those I serve here at Talk to Me Therapy!

I’m an Occupational Therapist and a Medical Massage Therapist working to rehabilitate and facilitate lives through life-changing therapeutic experiences. I’m a graduate of Tennessee State University with over 20 yrs experience with neuro rRehab, sensory integration, vestibular rehabilitation for adults and children just to name a few.

Striving to: Facilitate long-lasting therapeutic interventions that will shape the future of young adults by producing life changing compensatory strategies that will aid in proper functioning in schools and society.

Personal: I’m a mom of 4, A holistic health enthusiast and I love completing jigsaw puzzles! I was a majorette in high school and college. I love all things “dance”!

Carrie is a certified occupational therapy assistant. She graduated from Nashville State. She is board certified by the National Board Certification of Occupational Therapy. She is also licensed by the Tennessee Board of Occupational Therapy.

Carrie’s clinical experiences include working in Metro Public schools, skilled nursing rehabilitation and acute care facilities, and an outpatient pediatric practice. Carrie served children and adults with a variety of diagnosis and needs. She has a passion to help individuals learn, develop, engage in the world around them and become the best they can be. She desires to develop a long lasting relationship with her clients and families. Carrie will strive to improve daily living performance, emotional regulation, fine motor skills and improve self-confidence needed to thrive in today’s society.

Carrie was born and raised in Pleasant View, TN. She has three amazing kids along with 4 dogs and 1 cat. She loves spending time with family and friends, building legos with her fiancé, kayaking and traveling. Carrie believes that everyone is fearfully and wonderfully made. We were all created to do great things and she looks forward to helping you do just that.

Bailie Brownstead

Bailie Brownstead, OTR/L is an occupational therapist, certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy since 2022. She is originally from Ohio and moved to Tennessee in 2023. Bailie completed her Bachelors degree at The Ohio State University in 2020, and Master of  Occupational Therapy degree at Indiana State University in 2022. She has experience in acute care, early intervention, home health pediatrics, and the public school system.

Bailie loves watching children and families reach their goals and especially enjoys helping children develop emotional regulation skills, self-care skills, handwriting competency, and sensory integration. She loves building children’s confidence and independence, and using their interests to motivate and engage them in sessions. In her free time, Bailie likes to travel, spend time with her family and fiancé, try new restaurants, and watch football (especially the Ohio State Buckeyes!). She is so excited to work with you and your child!

My name is Isha Iyer. I’m originally from Michigan and have lived all over! My undergraduate studies were completed at University of Michigan, where I majored in biopsychology and neuroscience. I completed my masters in occupational therapy in Philadelphia. My career started as an occupational therapist in New York City, and now am in Nashville. I have experience working in an inclusive private school, early intervention, and in the clinical setting.

 

I love being an occupational therapist because I love creating a safe, nurturing space where children can grow and expand their skills through plan and their own natural interests and hobbies.  It’s wonderful to witness and help facilitate a child’s independence and confidence, no matter if they are six months old or 17 years old. I am creative and free-spirited soul. Art, music, meditating, traveling, and Thai food are some of my favorite things. I am so excited to work with your child!

My name is Grace Milton, and I am a 2023 graduate from Nashville State Community College where I received my education in occupational therapy. I have experience in many settings, but pediatrics has always had my heart! I love to witness and play a role in children’s growth and learning. I have experience with facilitating feeding therapy, sensory integration and regulation therapy, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, developmental skills, and emotional regulation skills. I strive to create a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment to promote independence and growth! 

Originally from Canton, Georgia, I moved to Nashville in 2020 to begin my career in OT and music! I am a singer, songwriter, and play guitar and piano. I enjoy integrating these activities into my treatment sessions in hopes to facilitate creativity with my clients! When I do not have my OTA hat on, I enjoy being outside, traveling, reading, playing music, meditating, and doing yoga.

Laura Vetter

Laura Vetter, OTR/L is an occupational therapist, certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy since 2003. She graduated from Loma Linda University with a Bachelor of Heath Science and a Master of Occupational Therapy in 2003. She has 19 years of experience providing occupational therapy services to a wide range of clients in many settings: home health, hospital in-patient, hospital out-patient, private clinic based, and school. Although she has worked with all age groups with a wide variety of diagnoses, her main focus in her career has been with children birth to teenage years. While working in school districts in Tennessee and Idaho, she learned the vital importance of inclusion of students with special needs into a general education classroom not only for their benefit but for the benefit of all their peers.

Laura is able to help clients develop sensory regulation, fine motor skills, self-help skills, emotional regulation, coordination, and increase their awareness of inner-body cues (interoception). She also works with children to expand limited diets due to food aversion for sensory-related reasons such as textures, tastes, or colors of food. Laura provides sensory integration therapy focused on creating child-specific programs for parents to use at home to help their child in every aspect of their life. Her child-centered therapy helps children be comfortable and have fun while gaining new skills.

Laura Towbin

Laura Towbin is a licensed Physical Therapist with nearly 17 years experience in a variety of settings including home, school, outpatient, and hospital settings. Since earning her Doctor of Physical Therapy from University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 2007, Laura has focused her passion and expertise on providing pediatric care.

She has extensive experience in acute care, neonatal intensive care unit, pediatric rehabilitation both inpatient and outpatient. Working with children in pre-school and home settings, Laura has additional experience providing transdisciplinary early intervention services using an inclusion model.

Laura’s love of her work in pediatrics and physical therapy is matched by her love of Nashville where she currently lives with her family.

My name is Crystal Estes and am overjoyed to be a part of Talk to Me Speech Therapy! I was born and raised in South Georgia and moved to Tennessee in 2015, where I married my husband the following year.

I have previously worked in this field in many facets but have always enjoyed being the helpful hand of the office administration side of things. My husband, Mike, and I love country living and fish and garden in our free time. Together, we have 4 children and 8 grandchildren that we love to pieces and are VERY proud of! We also have 2 dogs and 1 cat.

My name is Anahuali Bahena and I am an office assistant here at Talk to Me Therapy. I graduated as a medical assistant in 2010 and I have worked in pediatrics since then. I was born in Illinois, but grew up in Kansas until I was 11 years old and then moved to Texas in 2001. I lived in Texas for 5 years before moving to Nashville in 2006.

I met my husband here and together we have 4 boys. I am bilingual and speak Spanish fluently. I enjoy working with children, because they always know how to put a smile on your face!!

New to Tennessee, born and raised in New York. Moved here after getting married to be closer to family. I have worked with kids for over 15 years from being a TA In preschools, a NYC nanny, and running a group home for teenagers. So being surrounded by children is my favorite kind of work life. 

I am happy to be an a part of Talk to Me Speech Therapy, helping out in the office, talking with parents and being there to support our wonderful staff.
